The Council of Seven
For some Christian business owners and CEO’s there is a greater need for direct support for personal development as a leader of a Kingdom Company and for a plan of action to lead the transformation. It was for this group of leaders the Council of Seven was created. Initially, sessions will be conducted at the Simpsonwood retreat Center in Atlanta when a live group session is conducted but expansion to other parts of the country and globe are anticipated.
God has a vision for your company and your role as the leader/steward of it. Once you accept the responsibility of being a Kingdom Company, you change the relationship between you and God, allowing Him to be in control while you align with His will, His plans and His ways. It is perhaps the most energizing, powerful and effective way to run a business for a Christian business owner. Discovering His vision for your business, aligning with and releasing the fullness of His gifts to live the vision daily is what this engagement is all about.
But there are real everyday business issues that must be transformed through this process. A Kingdom Company is also an excellent, well run, financially sound organization that is a model of what God would want our companies to look like as we serve our customers, our employees and our suppliers.
It is anything but religion, but rather a powerful and meaningful relationship between every person connected with our businesses and the creator of the universe. The Council is designed to give you tools and processes that transform as you become the transformation agent, being held accountable to the process by your Council Leader and your Council of Seven. It involves you as a leader, deals with issues you ar dealing with and serves as the most effective Board of Advisors you will ever have, all led by someone trained in the process of corporate transformations into Kingdom Companies
The tools you will be given and equipped to use will last for a lifetime and will likely be the single best investment you will ever make. These are not coaching sessions but transformation engagements, allowing you to work on your practice while you work in your practice. The integration of you faith walk with your business life is perhaps the most important challenge you face as a business owner and the Council of Seven will be a powerful catalyst for that integrated approach.
The Process
- An initial on-site, one day visit by your Council Leader. (Currently two leaders are serving in this capacity; our founders Alan Ross and Dale Bissonette. Additional leaders will be certified as the demand expands. Council leaders must be actively engaged in and operating at a senior level within their own committed Kingdom Company.)
- Starting in month two and continuing bi-monthly, Council Sessions of 1 ½ days each will be conducted in Atlanta at the Simpsonwood Retreat Center. Evenings are important to the process so it is recommended that these sessions be the sole purpose of the time at the session. It is a retreat that will transform.
- For the months we are not in a group meeting, bi-monthly live Webinar coaching sessions are conducted designed to equip, encourage and challenge further on the specific objectives from the Council Session the month prior. Each session is 2 hours in length and you may include your Legacy Leaders as part of the sessions.
- The final thirty minutes of every session will be devoted to questions and open discussion but is hoped that communications between the Council Leader and with each other as members is open, free-flowing and on a consistent basis.
- Assignments between the group sessions in Atlanta are geared to help you implement the tools creating a hands–on transformation process which we track from month to month.
- Fees for the Council of Seven are $995 per month, paid three months in advance. There is a twelve month commitment and no more than seven members will be permitted in any one Council. Travel and room and board costs are the responsibility of the member
- The Kingdom Companies membership fee is covered for the member during the Council period.
- At the end of the twelve month process, inclusion into the Council of Seven Charter program will allow the process to continue on a quarterly basis with additional Council groups being involved. Details will be made available in month seven of the Council of Seven program.
